The Last Walk

Chris went on his last 'Laternenlauf' this evening. This is a tradition in Germany where kindergarten-aged kids go out with their laterns on an evening hike in the forest, sing songs and then, at the end, eat treats around a campfire. Anna asked if she could take part and they all said yes.

Lucky Nummer Sieben

Coming off a bruising 1-3 start last week, Chris' team went 4-0 today in their tournament - they dominated the other teams. Chris shot 6 goals over the 4 games. Fittingly he wore number 7 today.

Sabine wasn't the only one to go through a transformation the last couple of weeks. In fact, Anna led the charge just before she started 1st grade. Her way of preparing for this right-of-passage (and it is much easier to comb).

Game Face

Chris at his first competition today. They got the team-jersey thing going on - looking pretty serious. Although he played really well, they won only 1 of 4 games today.
